Virtual Coworker

• Download the VC Time Tracker (attached) package. The package is in DMG format.
  
• Click on the DMG file to launch it.
  
• You should see an installation window like this one . Just drag the VC Time Tracker icon to the Application folder.
  
• VC Time Tracker requires the Access for Assistive Devices to be enabled (in order to capture keyboard events). You can enable it by doing the following:  
  
  • Go to Apple menu and choose System Preferences  
  • Choose Universal Access  
  • Check the box Enable access for assistive devices .

• Open a browser and go to page www.java.com.
  
• Click the Free Java Download button to proceed.
  
• Follow the steps to install Java.
  

• Download the VC Time Tracker (attached) package. The package is in DMG format.

• You should see an installation window like this one . Just drag the VC Time Tracker icon to the Application folder.
  
• (Important) Please follow this instruction to configure accessibility. In order for Time Tracker Client to work properly, you need to enable Accessibility on your system. 
• Go to you Applications folder and you should see Time Tracker Client. Just click to launch it.

Prerequisite

You should have a recent version of Java installed. To check it, you can open System Preferences and if you see a Java icon you already have Java installed on your system.

If you do not see the Java icon in System Preferences, please install it with the following instruction.

• Open a browser and go to page www.java.com.
• Click the Free Java Download button to proceed.
• Follow the steps to install Java.

MAC Client Installation (for MAC OSX 10.15 and OSX 11, OSX 12, OSX 13)

(For users who use OSX 10.9, 10.10, 10.11, 10.12, 10.13 and 10.4, please do not use this instruction. Go on top items.)

Prerequisite

Install and Configure Worksnaps

• Download the VC Time Tracker (attached) package. The package is in DMG format.
• Click on the DMG file to launch it.
• You should see an installation window like this one . Just drag the VC Time Tracker icon to the Application folder.
• Go to you Applications folder and you should see VC Time Tracker. Just click to launch it.
• (Important) There are some system options you need to enable so that Worksnaps Client can work properly. When you are using VC Time Tracker, you might be prompted for permission to allow VC Time Tracker to access system resource. You need to turn on the permission for it to do so. Please read this article on how to deal with the prompted messages and turn on Screen Recording, Accessibility, and Camera (optional) for VC Time Tracker.
